"Lowco" Mean?
It's not about being low. It's about the Lowcountry — the tidal marshes, the live oaks, the places where the land and water argue over who owns what.

Lowco Outfitters started the way most good things do around here — on the water, before sunrise, when the marsh fog was still thick and nobody had checked their phone yet.
We're South Carolina through and through. Born here, raised here, still fishing and hunting the same creeks and fields our fathers taught us on. The Lowcountry isn't just where we're from — it's what we are.
We started with hats because that's what you reach for first. A good hat is part of the uniform. It tells people who you are without saying a word. Ours say: I know which way the tide runs. I know where the fish are. I know how to be quiet in the woods.
What "Lowco" Really Means
Short for Lowcountry, sure. But it's also a state of mind. Lowco means you slow down when the rest of the world speeds up. You know that the best things — a good cast, a patient hunt, a perfect tide — can't be rushed.
It means community. Down here, we know our neighbors. We know the old-timers who remember when the shrimp boats ran thick. We know which creek to fish after a hard rain and which one to leave alone. That knowledge gets passed down, and we want our brand to carry it.
Where We're Headed
Right now it's hats. Nine of them, embroidered with designs that mean something to the people who grew up in the marsh. But the vision is bigger.
We want to be the Lowcountry answer to Bass Pro Shops. Not a chain store. A brand. A community. A place where the guy who wades the flat and the duck hunter who gets up at 4 AM can both find something that fits.
Fishing gear, hunting gear, shirts, stickers, coolers — it's all coming. We're just getting started.

What We Stand For
Community
The Lowcountry is a small place with big culture. We support local events, local guides, and local businesses. We're neighbors first, brand second.
Conservation
We pledge to donate 1% of sales to Ducks Unlimited. The marsh, the wetlands, the habitat — it has to be here for the next generation. No habitat, no hunting. Simple.
Quality
If it goes in the blind or on the water, it has to work. Our stuff is made to be worn hard, washed often, and still look good on the tailgate at 6 AM.
We Give Back to the Marsh
Ducks Unlimited has conserved over 15 million acres of wetlands since 1937. Every hat you buy from Lowco Outfitters contributes to that mission. The Lowcountry marshes that inspire every design — we want to protect them.
